Formeil in Central Texas in 2013, Rock Bottom String Band coalesced from a series of hackyard jams and carport hangouts. Driven hy a DIY work ethicwith an inclination toward the rowlier side of the genre, this 5 piece Indie Non-Traditional Bluegrass collective has carvedout a sound of its own that they like to call “Boozegrass”. They’ve toured all across on acid”. Over the course of their time together the hand has recorded 2 full length alhums of original material, with a third forthcoming. They’ve also opened for many notahle acts, including Emmylou Harris anil the Deal Kennelys. With three singer/songwriters and a multitude of musical influences, Rock Bottom String Band connects with a wide range of audiences – from concert halls to har room hrawls -with no signs of slowing down! LEGS.The Band was founded in 2018 as The Bible Belt in Denver, CO by John Mark and Marcus Macabre. The two worked in a brewery together where they met Nick Workman. After the owner decided to close the brewery down, the three wrote several songs so they could put on a concert for the last night. After putting on a successful show that would go down in history, the band continued to put out several self produced demos including their acoustic demo My Eyes Are Up Here, under their new name LEGS. The Band. On midnight New Year’s 2021 they released their debut studio album In the Flesh. With musical influences drawn from every genre, LEGS. is a band of versatility, and can be recognized by its poetic lyrics, melodic bass, and groovy hard rock sound. That sound comes from Marcus Macabre’s cathartic soulful vocals, Nick Workman’s driving melodic lead guitar, John Mark’s abstract rhythm guitar, and the passionate drumming that makes you want to dance from Trashington Dogarelli. Finally they added Skyler Bleu the missing piece to hold down the groove and look great doing it. Now as a 5 piece they’re ready to take over the world LEGS. passion for all things fabulous and macabre is only paralleled by their mission to wake up better people everyday, and to share their art and love with everyone they meet.
