Jadewick have been playing locally and nationally since 2016. The band started out as a four-piece post hardcore/indie project, but after becoming a trio in 2021, they found their true north in the noise-punk world. They all have roots in heavier music, and the new sound has harkened back to that era.
Nowadays, their live shows usually involve singer-guitarist Zo running into the crowd and yelling in their faces, while Barrett unspools bass so heavy your ancestors can feel it in their bones, and Sameer lets fly with drum fills you wish you wrote. They have now added touring back into their repertoire, and they are just getting started. It’s a new era for Jadewick. And based solely on their first names, two of them will probably be deported to some third-world detention camp any day now, so get in on this action while you can.
