Alla Xul Elu: is a horror-obsessed hip-hop trio from Ohio, known for their masked personas and intense, horrorcore-themed music. Founding members Joey Black and Billy Obey began their journey in 2015 with the releases “Head of Horns” and “Sci-Co: Volume 1,” which quickly became staples in the Midwestern underground scene. Their 2017 follow-up, “Necronomichron,” took listeners on a smoke-filled, B-movie-inspired journey. With the addition of Lee Carver, the trio joined Detroit’s independent label Majik Ninja Entertainment, releasing “The Almighty” in 2018 to critical acclaim among horror rap enthusiasts. The 2019 EP “Church of Xul” continued their tradition of scathing religious critique and dark imagery established in prior works. In 2020, they collaborated with producer Slasher Dave to create the death-themed “Mauxuleum” and followed it with “Necronomichron 2: Dead By Bong.”Alla Xul Elu continues to build their legacy with plans for multiple projects, streams, and live performances.
