Tim has appeared in numerous movies, including The Lost Boys, Tap (with Gregory Hines) and Hearts of Fire (with Bob Dylan) and TV shows Miami Vice, Reservation Dogs and The Equalizer. Mineral King was started by Aiden Paul-Scott and Kasey Klar in the summer of 2020, as they graduated college straight into the pandemic. Back in their hometown north of LA, they joined forces with Joonas Cohen and eventually Marcus Sanchez to work on creating a new sound. Blending all their influences, from pop punk to progressive rock, math to alt-country, they created riff-laden, rhythmically complex music while still having room for intentional and intimate lyricism
