The Surfrajettes [Big Room-Upstairs]
What’s thicker, our eyeliner or our guitar strings? The Surfrajettes are a four-piece instrumental combo from Toronto, ON, Canada. Since forming in late 2015, the band has charmed audiences with their clever mix of psychedelic rock and reverb-drenched surf music, sky-high beehives, go-go boots, and eyeliner as thick as their guitar strings. The band achieved viral online notoriety from their home-made performance videos and their feature by Norman’s Rare Guitars in LA. The debut 45 single “Party Line / Toxic” released late 2018 on Hi-Tide Recordings to immediate success. The band has toured extensively in its support, including performances on The Beach Boys Cruise, The Melissa Etheridge Cruise, at Sea.Hear.Now, Nashville Boogie, Wild O Fest in Mexico City, The Surf Guitar 101Convention, Tiki Oasis & Hi Tide Summer Holiday: Asbury Park. They spent the rest of 2020 and most of 2021writing and recording their debut LP “Roller Fink” from Hi-Tide Recordings / Virgin Music, that released in 2022. Amidst touring throughout the last few years in Canada, the U.S.A, and Europe, they wrote their highly anticipated second LP, “Easy as Pie”, which released in October, 2025. The Surfrajettes are guitarists Shermy Freeman and Nicole Damoff, bassist Abby Jo Powell, and drummer Annie Lillis. Colour Revolt is an indie rock band formed in Oxford, Mississippi in 2003, whose music channels the spirit of Southern gothic through haunting melodies, emotional intensity, and stark lyrical imagery. The group emerged in the mid-2000s with a self-titled EP that quickly earnedcritical attention for its intensity and lyrical depth. Their debut album, Plunder, Beg and Curse(2008) and sophomore release The Cradle (2010), showcased a dynamic range that movedbetween quiet vulnerability and explosive instrumentation. Through relentless touring and afiercely passionate live presence, Colour Revolt cultivated a devoted fan base and became arespected voice in the Southern indie rock scene. Scoochie Boochie was born from a volcano, and now he’s the best rapper in the United States. Since 2015 Scoochie Boochie has been crafting clever innuendo and shockingly catchy flows into five albums: which tell a connected cinematic story known as the Scoochiverse. After 10 years grinding in the comedy scenes of Grand Rapids, MI and Chicago, the eruption finally began in January of 2025, when music videos for Car Butt, I Have Sex, and several other songs went viral, opening the floodgates for 300,000+ new fans who have discovered the rest of his catalog is also fire.
