Ok Mid-South area listen up! Mid-South Trans Nation is having a party!!!! March 31st on TDOV ( Trans Day Of Visibility ) from 8pm till 11pm at Hi Tone upstairs in the big room. This will be a 18+ event no alcohol will be served but you can still order sodas, water, food and maybe even a fancy mocktail! Dropping the beats for you will be none other than DJ Space Age!! Also Jad Davis will be in attendance, doing terror readings, and all things spiritual. There’s a possibility we may do a prize giveaway for the best space age themed costume, so feel free to dress the part for the night. More details later. The door fee/cost is a suggested donation of $10 dollars but pay what you can, we do not want anyone to miss this regardless of anyone’s financial situation, just come have fun and hang out with good people. 🙂 Stay tuned for more info to come.

Combining the droney madness of Velvet Underground and wordsmith of The Fall, grounded in the punk attack and sense of humor of the Replacements and Ramones, Sexfaces plays full-noise zero-fluff music for bad people.

Rock Bottom String Band [Small Room-Downstairs]

Formeil in Central Texas in 2013, Rock Bottom String Band coalesced from a series of hackyard jams and carport hangouts. Driven hy a DIY work ethicwith an inclination toward the rowlier side of the genre, this 5 piece Indie Non-Traditional Bluegrass collective has carvedout a sound of its own that they like to call “Boozegrass”. They’ve toured all across on acid”. Over the course of their time together the hand has recorded 2 full length alhums of original material, with a third forthcoming. They’ve also opened for many notahle acts, including Emmylou Harris anil the Deal Kennelys. With three singer/songwriters and a multitude of musical influences, Rock Bottom String Band connects with a wide range of audiences – from concert halls to har room hrawls -with no signs of slowing down!
